Adventure awaits! They weren’t kidding. Just about every minute of our trip had some sort of activity one way or another. Comedy, musicals, painting, shopping, mimosa tastings. Cruise was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We stayed in a suite which was very roomy. The food was just okay, nothing spectacular. There are some activities on board, not a lot though. We only went to one of the shows at night, the others did not interest us. Very few children which was nice. This boat is smaller so we were able to get very close to the glaciers. First cruise with husband. The Summit was a beautiful ship. We enjoyed the buffet, theater entertainment especially broadway hits, Elton John and Billy Joel. Very talented singers and dancers. 3 decks on 4, 5 and 11 with nice seating and views, listening to different musical groups and playing games. 50-60s dance night was especially fun. We had a wonderful time on the Celebrity Edge! The rooms were spacious (largest inside room I've ever had), the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. We also did the Spa Package and loved relaxing in the salt room and crystal room. The ship had a lot to do, from different lounges to various restaurants. I just got back from this 7 day Alaskan Cruise, that was August 15 to August 22! It was awesome! ALL staff no matter what their positions were simply amazing and professional. While the ship was lovely and the staff very nice I did have some issues. Our veranda stateroom did not have a coffee maker…hair dryer and the tablet did not have a cord. Our butler, while very nice Was only around in the afternoon. The televisions would turn on and off while using the remote. One would come on in the middle of the night. The excursions were very mediocre.

Quantum of the seas is a ship with lots of activities for all ages. The Seaplex has bumper cars, pickleball(too busy and not enough free play), climbing wall , flow rider, etc. It has a capacity of 4905 passengers and yet the ship had so many options it did not feel crowded except at Sitka due to the need for shuttles to get off by number. Get in line early to get shuttle tickets if you are not
